    Vintage Lot CARDS (75+) 1920's - 1930’s HOLIDAY XMAS EASTER VALENTINE BIRTHDAY.
    This is quite a find for collectors! There are at least 75 different cards in the lot, the majority in their original, stamped and postmarked envelopes. About 12 of these cards have no envelope, 3 envelopes are empty, and about six have the postmark rubbed out. Otherwise, this batch includes cards from 1924 through 1937. The years 1929 through 1933 have the most cards.
    Some of these cards are miniatures, most are standard size. There are cards for Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, and thank yous. Many of the envelopes have foil linings. Most cards are very colorful, some with bows or frills. Most envelopes have been addressed in pencil. Some cards were pre-printed by the senders. I have just opened a few for the photographs. My guess is that most collectors are familiar with the styles of the period.
