Vintage 1950s Polish Jointed Teddy Bear Golden Cotton Plush 15 Inches Tall - Poland
Made in Poland, in the 1950s, this charming teddy bear has jointed legs and arms where they meet the torso.
The head is not jointed.
He is all original, with glass eyes, cloth paw pads, and hard excelsior stuffing.
The nose is leather, turned to create the nostrils.
He measures 15" tall and 8" wide across the front, including his arms.
There are no tags or makers marks.
he has been in my own collection since the early 1970s, and mostly sat on a shelf.
There is very little wear, although he is missing his mouth. The paw pads are lightly soiled. All stitching is good.
He comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home, and has no mustiness.
He weighs 1 pound 1 ounce, or 476 grams.
