    Description

    very nice partially restored 100% original Kentucky license plate. "G" 1913-14 issue; number 10012.  this particular plate was issued in 1913, as the thirteenth plate of the series.  very low number.  14 by 6 inches; red and white legend on black background.
    the plate lies completely straight and flat, with excellent original porcelain as seen in the photos.  missing parts have had replacement metal competently welded in place.  just needs fill and paint.
    porcelain plates are fragile, because the coating is literally glass fused to the steel.  to protect it from damage, the plate will be packed carefully for transport.
